Site Section

After mapping out our section and taking a few pictures of our site, we spend alot of time on google maps and the GIS viewer to get a good persepective of the section. After a few calculations on the scale, 1:500 and a detailed 1:100, we get making.

Our theme or idea for these sections was to show the different emotions and attitudes people we observed show when interacting or near architecture or certain spaces. Bright colourful objects show happiness, excitement, joy. While the newspaper shows the dull footpaths, office buildings where people are busy, looking dull or on the way to B from A. I thought this produced a very useful section map, although it did not come out as we hoped, it still seemed to produce a good model.
